I love Straightway's album cover. It screams 80's.

They were pure 80's metal!
Their shows were good, excellent showmanship for 19 and 20 year olds. Then again I was 17 and what did I know? I just wanted it LOUD!
During their show the light would go off then back on with all members on different instruments.
There is a youtube vid of their song Black or white

They were a good band.  I did not realize that there were members in 20/20 blind that came from straigthway.  I love 20/20 blind.  Seen them in concert with Whitecross and Whiteheart in Houston.  Jamming show

I was at that same show. I believe it was at the SAM Houston coliseum.
Doug middleton was lead guitarist for both bands. The bassist joined 20/20 but quit before the album was released.

Sam Houston Collisium

Man I saw a lot of shows in that place.  For the 20/20 Blind show I was on the floor close to the stage on the left hand side.  I saw Stryper a couple of times there, Petra many times.  I don't remember all the shows but there were many

A friend of mine owned a christian bookstore in Pasadena and would get front and center tickets from KSBJ to sell. Since I was in there all the time buying anything rock and metal he would pull about 10 to 15 tix for me and my friends. Styper, Bride, Petra, Whitecross, Degarmo and Key, WhiteHeart. Sacred Warrior, Rez Band, BC
Man those were good times!!!
